401k employer match

Is it possible to unlock payroll checks to enter 401k employer match that was not entered on payroll checks at the time they were processed.  Have 4 weeks that need to be adjusted.

Thanks!

401k employer match

If you manage your own payroll (Enhanced), you certainly can edit the past paychecks. To do so open a check, unlock net pay (write down what it is before you do) then manually override the company match, then save. Doing this 4 times should result in an outstanding 401k liability to be paid.  I have to wonder how you missed the employer side when you were paying into the fund each week as you would have had the employee side to pay.

You can also perform a liability adjustment, which might be the better solution. Employees>Payroll Liabilities>Adjust Payroll Liabilities   1. Change date to be for the payroll periods already paid 2. select the item, 401k Co Match 3. select the employee
