Alternatives to QuickBooks Payroll

Hello,

Are there third parties that provide a similar service to Intuit Payroll, in which paychecks are created in QuickBooks but then the payroll data is submitted to the third party for direct deposit, W2s and payroll tax returns? We have been working with Intuit's escalation team to help resolve a problem in which we can't submit payroll data without getting errors, but I would just like to know if there are any options to use a different provider while still maintaining the information in QuickBooks, or if moving to a different payroll provider means maintaining payroll information outside of QuickBooks.

We are a nonprofit healthcare company with approximately 20 locations across three counties in California. We have about 400 paychecks per pay period (every two weeks).

I appreciate the advice around resolving the payroll submission issue, we have been working very closely with the Intuit Escalation Team for some time, and continue to do so, but it might not work out so we want to be aware of other options out there.
