Anyone figure out how to rotate the screen on. 4th generation iPad?

Hello, mssuzieq.

I hope you're doing well. I'll give an overview on the screen rotation compatibility for the Self-Employed platform.

At this time, the QuickBooks Self-Employed app is designed for a single orientation view (for mobile devices). We're unable to rotate the screen.

As a workaround, you can log in to your Self-Employed account using a supported browser in your iPad. Just make sure the Rotation Lock feature is turned off. Open the Control Center by swiping up from the bottom edge of your screen. Then, tap the Rotation Lock button to turn it off.

Our developers might add a rotation compatibility for iPad and other devices. Stay tuned for our product updates from newsletters and such.

Feel free to check out our articles if you run into any difficulties managing your business in the Self-Employed platform. They can guide you in recording and categorizing your transactions and help you file your estimated taxes.

I welcome any other questions you might have for the Self-Employed app. Just reply here and I'll see what I can do for you.

Hi everyone

12 months on and seems the same issue is still happening?

Its a shame i cannot use this app due to not being able to flip the screen.

Any updates or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello there, Sw76.

I appreciate you for hopping on this thread.

This feature request has already been forwarded to our developer's team.

In the meantime, you can follow my colleague's workaround. Log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account on a supported browser using your device. Just ensure, the rotation lock feature is turned off.

Also, you can visit our Self-Help page for more tips in managing your account.
