auto payroll

Hello, @Weimin.

I’d be happy to share some information about auto payroll in QuickBooks Online.

If you’re using QuickBooks Online Payroll CorePremium, or Elite for the first time, make sure that you meet all criteria for Auto payroll.

  • You have Full Service (available for most companies), Core, Premium, or Elite payroll
  • All employees are either salaried or have default hours set.
  • All employees are on a single pay schedule.
  • Payroll setup is fully complete.
  • First payroll has been run.

Otherwise, you’ll have to manually run payroll. Also, QuickBooks Online will automatically calculate your taxes.

You can use this article to check if your payroll was set up correctly: Get ready to use Auto Payroll.

If you need more help with this or anything else, please don't hesitate to reach out. Have a good one.

Hi

It seems like my empolyee payroll setup is correct, and received the email from Quickbooks that said that will take care my Fed tax payment automatically, however after I login my account next day, my auto payroll went off, and the message said "Automatically pay your employees. (Currently ineligible.)", I will have no ideas what should I do now ?

thanks
