Bug with Colorado Tax Info

When I try to update my Unemployment Rate and try to hit Save. It says "Enter a 8-digit valid Dept of Revenue Account Number" under the account number, which I am not changing at all. If I add and delete a number from the account number to remove this message, it then says the account number can't be changed. I hope Intuit see this will fix this bug.

Bug with Colorado Tax Info

Updating your State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) rate in QuickBooks Online is essential to ensure accurate payroll calculations and compliance with state regulations, justing.

To begin with, let's reach out to your tax agency to verify your Revenue Account number for accuracy. Once verified and the error still occurs, then we can proceed with checking if this is a browser-related problem. I suggest accessing your QuickBooks account via private window, which doesn’t use existing cache files, and ignores historical data.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

If this works, let's clear the regular browser's cache to remove its stored caches to ensure the program performs efficiently. If you get the same result, I suggest switching to a different one as an alternative.

You can also read about the Payroll Tax Compliance Links to find more detailed information on various tax-related topics, including tax forms, withholding details, unemployment taxes, e-filing procedures, payment options, general state and agency information, and employer registration processes.

If you encounter more issues or need further assistance setting up your State Payroll tax in QuickBooks, I'm just a few clicks away. It's always a pleasure to help you out.
