You will now be able to talk to a live person:)
Hi there, @tamatkinson.
You've got me here to assist you with any QuickBooks concern. If you could please provide me with some more details for what you were experiencing, I would be happy to take a look and help get it taken care of.
On the other hand, we've recently updated our customer care experience. The best way to reach our support team is to sign in to your account, select the Help icon on the top right, and then Contact Us at the bottom of the panel.
Please see the steps and snips below for your reference:
I have here a link that you can visit about some help articles that contains information on how QBO works: Get started with QuickBooks Online.
I'm just a few clicks away if there's anything else you need. I'll ensure you're all set. Wishing you all the best in everything that you do.
You're right, reeneetriche1.
Sometimes, we need a human that we can talk to about our concerns. We can help you with this. As shared by BettyJane above, you can choose to get a callback, and one of our phone specialists will give you a call in the next minutes.
Please know that the callback option is only available during office hours. For the Plus, Essentials and Simple Start plans, the support is available in these schedules:
For the QuickBooks Advanced plan, the support is available 24/7.
Alternatively, you can also post here when you need assistance in the future. Have a great weekend!
I am having the same problem. I need to talk to a real person and keep getting the run around on the phone. I can't even get the chat to go through. QB has been overcharging me for the Merchant services, but I can't seem to talk to anyone about it! How convenient! If anyone from Intuit is looking at this, would you please give me a phone number to a real person, or at least an email address I could use?
What happens when the help button doesn't allow you to either receive a callback or message? The ONLY thing it lets me do is post a question to the community. When I click on other options, nothing happens. This is a really frustrating customer service experience.
Thanks for following the thread and sharing your concerns with us, @mypiccoline.
Please know that you can post any questions or concerns you may have right here in the Community. It's our goal to get you back to business every step of the way.
However, if you prefer to speak with support via phone, I've sent you some information through a private message to get in touch with a live agent. Just click on your profile at the top of your Community page and choose Messages. I've included a screenshot below you can reference.
I look forward to your response. Chat with you soon!
What if I can't even sign onto my account to get to the help icon. I have been trying to reach someone for two days because it won't let me sign in to my online payroll account. It will let me change my password, but once I do that and try to sign in again, it says it can't find me account. Driving me CRAZY???
Good Evening, @Terri4166.
Thanks for joining in on this thread. Since you're unable to sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, I'll send you a private message with another helpful method to get you in touch with our Customer Support Team. You can find your private messages within the Community by doing the steps below.
I want to ensure that you get the support you need. I'll chat with you soon.
Welcome to the Community, @barbam.
Let me provide some ideas about 1099-NEC in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
Currently, this year efiling 1099 directly from QuickBooks Desktop for Mac is unavailable. However, you can export the information you need to go to tax1099.com or a service of your choice and complete your efiling there.
Please stay tuned as we are working on making this available as soon as possible. I encourage you to visit our QuickBooks blog page to get you in the loop about the recent news and product release.
You may want to keep this article handy. We'll update this once we have additional information: Release notes for QuickBooks Desktop for Mac 2020.
I've also included a link in which will guide you with the 1099 form in the IRS: Tax Year 2020 - Instructions for Forms 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC
I'll be here to lend a hand if you have follow-up questions or any QuickBooks concerns. Have a good one.
