Can I change the account a payroll expense is charged to?

When I am in the payroll set up screen > Company set up>employee benefits > misc and click on the account I want to edit the expense account it is charged to, It will not let me.  I can change the way it is shown on the pay check, but cannot get to the expense portion of the screen.  How can I change the way it is mapped?

Yes, go to list>payroll item list and edit and change the acct.
