Can I pay independent contractors per direct deposit now?

I've seen that this feature is out for Quickbooks desktop, but I only have Quickbooks online. Will I be able to set up a direct deposit for my contractors here as well (or if in the future, when)?

Or is this a feature only supported in the desktop version?

This doesn't work. Incredibly buggy using most recent version of Chrome. Doesn't allow you to select an expense account, and therefore will not allow you to submit payment. Currently non-functional.

Can I pay independent contractors per direct deposit now?

Hi there, @sidney.

We haven't received any similar issue where reported to us. It's possible a webpage issue may cause unexpected behavior in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To single out this issue, let's try using another browser or try logging in to your account using the incognito browser.

For Internet Explorer or Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.

If this works fine, please try clearing your browser's cache. Here's an article that will walk you through clearing the cache depending on which browser you're using: https://community.intuit.com/articles/1145697

Clearing the cache allows your browser to function more efficiently and help delete any necessary contents stored in your browser. Then, let your new user pull up a report in QBO.

That's it. Please let me know if you need additional help.

This seems to be available in the US only. Any notice if it will be rolled out to Canada?
