I hope you are having a great day. Once the 1099 Form has been submitted, you’ll have to file a manual amendment. I’m here to guide you all the way to get this form corrected. 

Here’s how to file a manual amendment:

1. Visit the IRS webpage and order 1099-MISC IRS forms.
2. When filling out the form be sure to choose the Corrected checkbox.
3. Mail in the form to the IRS.
4. Send a recipient copy to your contractor.
