Can I split a payroll reimbursement check record among different expense categories? It's being recorded just as "reimursements" now

I see both the payroll check record and the bank transaction, and QBO automatically matches them. But I can't seem to split the bank record into many categories and still match to the payroll.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) automatically matches a downloaded transaction with the one you already entered. The option to split them to a different category is currently unavailable. This is to avoid any possible duplicates.

 

You can only split them if QBO didn’t find a match. The system will start a brand new transaction for you using the info from your bank.
