Can not find where to change the State unemployment rate. Does not appear to be as described in the help correctly

Hi there, @Anonymous.

Let me help change your State Unemployment rate in QuickBooks. As long as you received a rate notice from your state, you can go to your payroll settings directly to change or add a new rate.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear Icon and select Payroll Settings under Your Company.
  2. Click the Tax Setup folder.
  3. Choose the State on your State Tax Information.
  4. Click Change or add new rate.
  5. Enter the new rate as a percentage from the notice you received from your state (please see attached screenshot).
  6. Enter the Effective Date from the notice you received from your state.
  7. Once done, click OK.

That should do it. You might also want to check out some helpful articles below for future references.
