This hourly rate setup error in QuickBooks Online Payroll (QBOP) is likely caused by a browser-related issue. Let's work together and troubleshoot this so you can continue approving their time, usersbone2015.

Let's start by pulling up your QuickBooks account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)

Once signed in, go ahead and approve employees' time and process payroll.

If you're able to do so, return to your default browser and clear its cache. After that, log out and then log back into your account. This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performance issues.

However, if this matter continues, I'd recommend using other supported browsers.

On the other hand, in case the message persists even after performing the troubleshooting steps above, I'd recommend contacting our Payroll Care team for further investigation.

Once fixed, you may want to run payroll reports to get a detailed analysis of your company's financial status and access valuable insights regarding your business and employees.

Please keep me posted in the comments if you have other payroll concerns or questions about managing employees' time and paychecks in QBOP. I'll gladly help.

Hi @usersbone2015,

Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about the employees' hourly rate setup concern you had the other day. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at any time.

Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!
