Can someone help me with payroll?

My employee has a pre-tax gross of $4500 every two week he pays $500 for his Health Insurance His SS and Med is based on the $4500 his state and fed taxes are based on $4000. This is not on his pay stub what report shows this

About your second question, we can run the Payroll Summary by Employee report. This will show the Gross PayAdjusted Gross Pay, Net Pay, Employer Taxes and Contributions. 

 

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Select Payroll Summary by Employee report.
  3. Filter the dates according to your preferences.
  4. Choose your employee.
  5. Check the corresponding boxes if you’d like total Hours or Rates to be shown.
  6. Once done, click Run Report.

You'll want to print payroll reports. This helps you keep track of your payroll details and history, especially on year ends. Here's an article for the details: Print payroll reports.

Can someone help me with payroll?

I am trying to add employee paychecks so year info will be complete.  in pyrll setup entered all employees paid in 2022  then into payroll history.  click on January  entered specific paydate and info but gross earnings not listed  how do I get it to show up.   get stuck because dn calculate  or let me enter net pay

To start, let's perform some troubleshooting steps to fix this. There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources, which causes some errors or unusual responses. Let's start accessing your account using a different or a private browser. You can use either of these shortcut keys:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Shift N

 

Once you have successfully added a paycheck, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. This is done to speed up the process next time you do a transaction in QuickBooks Online. Also, an alternative way is to use other compatible browsers.

 

May I ask if you received an error message when doing the process? I appreciate any extra information you can give, and it will help us isolate the issue and provide the best solution.
