Thanks for responding but out of desperation I actually found something that worked. You see, I had cleared out all cookies and cache's yesterday and it STILL did not work. I was reading other comments this morning in the community looking for options and saw one person said that in her same office, hers was not working but her boss' was. So I logged out of mine (and yes, I tried that thru the day yesterday too with no luck) BUT I logged back in with the owner's login and what do you know, I could then run the payroll. AFTER I ran it, I went back into mine and it worked. Sad that I had to waste almost 2 days of work because of this problem in QB's payroll online.
Hey there, @ofab40. Thanks for joining the Community!
Let's get you back up and running so that you can run Payroll. The browser cache is designed to be a performance booster. When you go to a page, the browser looks in its cache to see if it has recently downloaded the requested data and, if it has, serves it up from the local machine's storage device instead of re-downloading. At times, the stored data can cause some odd errors and needs to be cleared from the browser.
Browser cookies are small text-based files that store some information about both the specific website and the user accessing that site. Cookies allow websites to save your preferences, such as your zip code for weather sites or profile-specific information you have previously entered. Deleting all cookies can help clear errors.
To fix this, follow this guide: Delete or disable cache and temporary internet files in your web browser.
Please know I'm always available here to lend a helping hand. Have a good one!
