Can vacation and sick time be tracked in online full service payroll?

Thanks for checking with us here in the Community. I'm excited to share with you some easy steps to set up and track vacation and sick time off for your employees. 


Here's how to do it on your QuickBooks Full Service Payroll: 


  1. Navigate to the Workers or Payroll menu, then choose Employees.
  2. Select the employee’s name, then select the Pencil icon in the Pay section to edit the info. 
  3. Select the Pencil✎ in the How much do you pay [employee]? section. 
  4. Select Paid time off, Unpaid time off, Sick Pay, Vacation Pay, or Holiday Pay.
  5. You can also enter hours per year and the maximum allowed hours. 
  6. Click OK, then Done.
