Currently, we're unable to code commissions to the project that you've paid through payroll since the two can't be connected. However, you can create a journal entry for the commission accounts to apply to their respective jobs. Let me guide you how:

  1. In your QuickBooks Online, click the + New button, then select Journal entry.
  2. On the page, select the appropriate accounts from the drop-down.
  3. Fill out the necessary information.
  4. Click Save and close.

For more details, click this article: Create a journal entry in QuickBooks Online.

Also, I'd suggest contacting your accountant. They can offer further guidance on choosing the right accounts to use.

You can also check out this article to know other ways on how to pay commission separately from regular pay.

Additionally, there are several payroll reports you can use to view useful information about your business and employees. You can check them out by clicking this link here

Fill me in if you have other questions and concerns. I'd be glad to help. Have a great day ahead.
