Can you retrieve archived 2019 941 forms?

I'll help you out in retrieving your archived 941 form from 2019. 

You'll want to go to the Payroll Tax Center to view and retrieve your payroll forms. Here's how: 

1. Go to Taxes, then click the Payroll Tax tab. 
2. Go to Filings.
3. Click View archived forms and filings.
4. On the first drop-down menu, select Quarterly Tax Form, then set the second one to 941. 
5. Hit View.

I'm trying to retrieve all of last years 941 forms that I need for an insurance audit.  Archived forms only has the last two quarters.  How do I access older forms?

Thank you for dropping by here in the Community. I can help you access older forms in QuickBooks Online.

When you electronically file forms through QuickBooks, the system archives them on your behalf. Usually, missing tax forms happen if you filed them outside the program.

Since the available liability periods extend back for a year or two, you can still archive the older forms. Here's how:

1. From the Taxes menu, select Payroll Tax.
2. Select Quarterly Forms or Annual Forms, as appropriate.
3. Choose 941. 
4. Select the liability period.
5. Select Archive.

In case you can no longer perform the process, I suggest contacting our Payroll Support Team. They have the necessary tools to assist you with archiving a form from an earlier period.

Please follow these steps:

1. Click the Help option in the upper-right corner.
2. Select Get help from a human.
3. Choose Chat with us or Have us call you.
