cancel my payroll subscription

I cancelled my payroll subscription last month and was just charged again for the subscription.  Do I need to call my credit card company and have them refuse future charges from Intuit, or do you think someone there can actually handle this for me?

There are a few reasons why your payroll subscription has been reactivated. Let me provide them to you and help you from there.


Updating your payment method triggers the reactivation of your subscription. 


You can log in to your account through CAMPS to cancel your payroll subscription. Or you can cancel it within QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. Click on Employees from the menu tab.
  2. Select My Payroll Service.
  3. Click on Account/Billing Info and sign in using your Intuit Account login.
  4. On the Manage your QuickBooks page, click on Details.
  5. Click the Cancel Service on the upper right of the screen.
  6. Choose a reason and confirm the cancellation.

Also, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Support regarding the charges. This way, they can check your account and the charges made, and help you further.


Here's how you can contact them:

  1. On your QuickBooks account, press F1 on your keyboard, and go to Contact us.
  2. Type in your concern and click Search.
  3. Click the Start a Message tab.
