Cancel quickbooks payroll

I'd like to take a moment to thank you for allowing QuickBooks the opportunity to serve your business needs.

A quick and easy way to cancel your subscription is to do it from within the software. Here's how:

1. Click the Gear icon.
2. Choose Account and Settings.
3. From the left menu select Billing & Subscription.
4. In the Payroll section, select Cancel.
5. Select Continue to cancel.
6. Complete the short survey, then select Cancel Payroll Service.

1. Click Help at the top right.
2. Select Contact Us.

I have done as stated and was told to call a number and press 7. I did. Then it stated that that number is no longer valid and gave me another intuit number. I have called and am currently sitting here wasting my precious time on hold. I am furious that I have no control over cancelling my account. If it was more money I would sue. You have made it so difficult to cancel the subscription it must be to deter me from cancelling. 

I believe I will be leaving quickbooks for all my corporations book keeping needs

Especially since I have to cancel my card to stop you from illegally drafting.

Did all that. Nope. Had to call and the number was no good. 

When I hit cancel that is all that it should take. I will have to cancel my card to stop it .

Do not tell me to do the above. Been there done that. Waiting on hold so I might as well let you guys know that is very devious how you keep your subscribers

Have you tried accessing your QuickBooks Online account via private browser? Let's check to see if you can cancel your payroll subscription through a private browser. Press CTRL+SHIFT+N and login to your account. Then, go back to the billing section again.

If you're still unable to do it, our only way is to contact our Payroll Support again. We are open Monday-Saturday 4:00 am-9:00 pm PST and closed on Sunday.

Thanks for joining this thread. I'd be glad to show you how to cancel your QuickBooks Online Payroll subscription.

If you no longer need the Payroll service, these steps will allow you to cancel it:

1. Click the Gear icon in the top right corner of your QuickBooks Online account.

2. Select Account and Settings.

3. Choose the Billing & Subscription tab.

4. Click Cancel in the Subscription Status line of the Payroll section.

5. You'll be asked if you're sure. Select Continue to cancel.
