Change Email for Workforce

I have previously sent an employee an invite for the QB Workforce to view pay stubs and he accepted the invite. He has since changed his email and cannot log in to the other email. How do I change it or send a new invite to the new email? I have changed the email within QB, but it does not transfer to the Workforce.

Thanks for keeping me updated about this, @lorinb.

 

You can resend the invite to your employee and make sure to enter the correct email address. This way, he'll be able to receive a new invite link. 

 

To do that:

  1. From the Employees menu, select Manage Payroll Cloud Services. (If you don’t see Manage Payroll Cloud Services, update your QuickBooks)
  2. Under QuickBooks Workforce, toggle the status to ON.
  3. Click on Invite Employees.
  4. Your employee list will appear. Choose the employees you need to give access, then add his email addresses.
  5. Hit on Send Invite. Once sent, you should see "Invited" under the STATUS column.

Right after, your employee should and start setting up his credentials. Here's an article that he can check out for his reference:  Access your paychecks and W-2’s online.

 

If re-sending the invite doesn't make a difference, I suggest reaching out to our Customer Care Team. They have advanced tools that can help further investigate the reason behind this matter.

Changing your employee's email for QuickBooks Workforce is quick and easy. You can provide steps below to your employee and perform the following:

 

  1. Open your internet browser (preferably Google Chrome).
  2. Go to https://accounts.intuit.com.
  3. Sign in with your current user ID and password.
  4. Select Edit next to the Email Address.
  5. Enter your new email address.
  6. Verify your current password.
  7. Select Save to store changes.
  8. A confirmation email will be sent to your new email address.

None of these solutions seem to be working for my employee.  Apparently, he called and spoke with Intuit, he was informed that I, as his employer should be able to send him a new login link  to the new email. I do not see how I can do this, as I cannot change the email in the invitation part of Workforce. Is this possible?
