Change prinary admin... Instructions call for changing the role. However, the "Role" never materializes.

Let me share additional information about transferring the primary admin role.

Please know that only the current primary administrator can transfer this role. In addition, make sure that the user you want to make the primary administrator should be listed as a company admin in the Role column. If they’re not, you can select the Edit option to update their role. 

When you're all set up and ready, here's how to change the primary admin in your QuickBooks company:

1. Sign in to QBO as the current primary admin. 
2. Go to the Gear icon, then select Manage users.
3. Find the user you want to make the primary admin.
4. Select the drop-down arrow from the Action section, then choose Make primary admin.
5. For security, we'll send a verification code to the phone number or email on file for your account. 
6. When you receive the verification code, enter it and click Continue.
7. Select Make primary admin again to confirm the change.
8. Sign out of QuickBooks.

Once the user receives the invitation email, have them click the link and accept the invitation to be the primary admin.
