Closed business as of 10/31/2020 (end of fiscal year) Intuit Quick Books Payroll for MAC 3rd quarter taxes have been filed

Madeline G answered some of my questions yesterday but I don't think I gave all the information correctly. our Fiscal year ended 10/31/2020. I have paid all the final 3rd quarter forms. My last actual payroll was 6/19/2020 (1 employee) and paid another employee his vacation pay owed 9/25/2020. I have paid my final 940 as well (10/6/2020). Madeline said I needed to check box 17 on a 941? I know that i didn't do that when I filed on 10/6/2020. I need to print my w2s and the system won't let me. Do I have to redo them

I can share some information about when you can print your W-2s successfully.

 

You can only print your employees' W-2 copies starting January 1, 2021. This will appear on your payroll To Do list. 

 

Here's how to print the employees' W-2 copies:

  1. Go to Taxes & Forms and select Annual Forms.
  2. Select W-2, Copies B, C & 2.
  3. You can now view and print the form.
