Contractors still haven't received their 1099's. Can I email a copy of it to them?

Yes, you can email a copy of the 1099 to your contractors. You’ll need to print the filed forms from QuickBooks and securely email it to them.

Additionally, if you invited your contractors to enter their own information, they would have received an email notification with the option to view their 1099 form. They just need to click the link in that email to access the form directly.

If they can’t find the email, encourage them to check their spam or junk folder, as messages may occasionally end up there.
