Could you please help me to activate my desktop quickbooks pro enhanced payroll

Activating your QuickBooks Desktop Payroll services depends on where you purchased it.

If you purchase QBDT Payroll online or by phone, you must activate the service by entering the service key. The service key will be emailed to you after you purchase your Payroll service.

Here's how to activate the service:

1. Go to the Employees menu, then select Payroll and choose Enter Service Key.
2. If you have an existing payroll subscription, you'll be prompted to specify if you want to add this file to your payroll subscription.
3. Select Skip to go to the Service Key window, or Add File to add this file to an existing Payroll subscription.
4. Select Add, then enter the service key and click Next.
5. A confirmation message appears, then select Finish.

Once done, QBDT will download the latest tax table and verifies your payroll subscription.

However, if you bought your payroll service from a retail store, you need to activate your payroll license online to get the service key.

1. Select Employees, then select Payroll and choose Install Payroll from Box. 
2. Complete the fields in the Payroll License and Product Information page. Your QuickBooks Desktop Payroll license number and product number are displayed on the folder inside your box.
3. Click Continue.
4. Complete the fields in the Payroll Company Legal Information section.
