Creating a paycheck for 401K company contribution

I am trying to pay my employee end of year 401K company contribution.  Normally I run this through payroll when I pay them, however, we're done with payroll for the year.  Is there a way to create a pay check for 401k company contribution with zero salary.  Please note that this employee is also reached their max 401K contribution for the year. Thanks!

Now that you're done with your year-end payroll, we'll need to do some adjustments. This way, we can record the employee's 401k contributions. I'd suggest calling us so we can walk you through the step by step process.

 

Here's how to get our phone number:

  1. Go to this link https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
  2. Select QuickBooks Online.
  3. Click the Running your business in QuickBooks topic.
  4. Click the Employees sub-topic.
  5. Scroll down and click the Get Phone Number button.
