Desktop Version Direct Deposit Verification Amounts Activate

I have tried to activate direct deposit on my desktop QB (2018, Enhanced)  however the bank is not receiving the needed verification amounts for me to enter.  Any thoughts as to why or any other options?

Hi there, @hydrocleanva


If you've set up for a Direct Deposit, this will take two to three banking days to confirm and activate your bank account. Also, you'll receive an email from us to confirm your direct deposit status.

 

When you entered your bank information, we'll make 2 small transactions, a deposit and a withdrawal of an amount less than $1.00. Please know that it might be up to 2 days before you see those transactions in your bank account. 

 

If you still haven't received it after 2 days, I recommend calling your bank or check your bank statement online. However, if none, you can contact our payroll support to check the status of your direct deposit request.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Help tab.
  2. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Enter Direct Deposit Verification in the Have a Question? field.
  4. Click Contact us.
  5. Hit Start a Message
