Weekends and federal holidays are non-banking days. Once your payroll is submitted on a non-banking day, your direct deposit will be drawn from your account the next banking day. You can still void the DD paychecks and it must be done before 5:00 p.m. Pacific time, and two banking days before the paycheck date. Then, write checks for your employee for them to be paid on time. However, once DD transaction has offloaded for ACH processing, Intuit can no longer stop it.
