Thanks for taking the time posting here in the Community. Let me help share some information about the direct deposit in QuickBooks Online.


QuickBooks Online has a new update on setting up direct deposit. You can now connect your company bank account to pay employees or contractors and pay taxes electronically using your Online Payroll service. 


The information needed are:

  • Bank account information:
    o    Account number
    o    Routing number
    o    Online banking credentials (QuickBooks Online Payroll and QuickBooks Full Service Payroll only)
  • Principal Officer information:
    o    Legal name
    o    Social security number
    o    Birth date
    o    Home address

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (question mark icon) at the top right.
