Direct deposit is not showing up in anyone's accounts. Payroll has run, shows as "processed", but no money in anyone's accounts (all different banks). What gives?

QuickBooks is not allowing phone calls. Chat told me I need a payroll specialist, gave me a link to same, then kicked me off chat (after an hour of waiting to get connected to a human). Link the rep gave me says "experts are currently offline please try again later". I have employees relying on their funds to be deposited, but the funds have been withdrawn from our payroll account, an QuickBooks shows the direct deposits as "processed". It's a small business, so I can't just afford to throw a few grand in there to write them checks in the meantime. This affects my paycheck as well. We all have different banks, and these are recurring direct deposits that are automatic. Personally, I already got an e-mail on Wednesday with my paystub, so I know it was in line to be processed by QuickBooks. It's not much comfort to tell my employees that the money should be there Monday when they have rent, mortgage, bills, etc., to pay, since tomorrow is May 1st.

Hi, @rebecca41.

We were alerted to a third-party issue with direct deposit processing this morning that has delayed the deposit of employees' paychecks into their accounts. The issue has been resolved and your employees should expect to see the funds available in their bank account by end of the day today.

In the meantime, this status page will have the latest updates and information on the issue while we work through all impacted accounts: http://status.quickbooks.intuit.com/incidents/jnhwslhtskgd

We know how critical each paycheck is to your team. This is, even more, the case in our current environment. Thank you for your patience as we focus to ensure your employees’ funds are available as soon as possible.

Apparently it is an issue with QuickBooks that appears to have been resolved within the past 30 minutes, so I consider this resolved.

This doesn’t really do much good to keep posting this same message. I have employees

That are going out of town and now are sitting around waiting on their paychecks. This should not happen and is just unacceptable I mean will they get them in an hour or 3 hours?? Then it says they should expect to have them funded by the end of the day can y’all at least guarantee this? What if they wait around until 5 and y’all still haven’t deposited the money? This is just insane a company gets paid millions of dollars to do one job and fails at it and the response is we are working on it?? Come on....

How can you honestly say this is solved when thousands haven’t received paychecks?

This is not the impression I want you to experience, @Charliex2, @utfanjc81.

I can see the importance of knowing the exact time frame of when will the money be deposited. Rest assured that our team is continuously working on this matter.

Also, your employees should expect to see the funds available in their bank account by end of the day today.

Don't hesitate to click the Reply button if you have follow-up questions about your payroll. I'm happy to answer them. Be safe.

and if it not available by the end of day, what should be expected out of quick books to make things right?

How can y’all all be replaying this message that the problem is fixed but y’all continue to say y’all are working on the issue. If it’s fixed then what are y’all working on?

My client who advised me of the problem at 9:15 a.m. said funds were finally deposited to employee's account at approximately 1:30 p.m. PST (about 90 mins ago).
