Hello, maryastotler@gma.
To isolate the issue, I'd like to make sure this isn't a problem with the browser. Let's open your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account via a private or incognito window. This way, we can check if this issue is due to pilled up cache from the browser.
Stored browsing data for a while causes unusual behavior to your browser that affects the views and performance of your QBO. Nonetheless, here are the keyboard shortcuts to open a private or incognito window:
If you're able to specify the transaction while on a private window, then, we'll need to clear your regular browser's cache. This will remove all the pilled up data and make your browser to function efficiently.
However, if the issue persists, I recommend using other browsers. This way, we can also check if this a browser-related issue.
If the same thing happens, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. A specialist will be able to access your account in a secured environment and further assist you via remote access session.
To ensure that you'll be assisted on time, please see our support hours.
I've also included our commonly used articles to help get started with Payroll. From there you can search guide in processing payroll, managing employees, paying taxes, and filing tax forms.
I'll be here to help if there's any questions. Have a wonderful day ahead.
This did not work. I also found the transaction in another check register. If you click on the payroll direct deposit it shows the money coming out of the correct bank account, we'll call it ABC Banking. And, the money is on that statement for ABC Banking, but it does not appear in the that register so that it can be reconciled. It appears in another register that is the Old bank account.
There is more than 1 transaction like this, how can this be fixed? Do I JE it from one account to the other? Or does support need to fix this issue?
Thank you!
I'm here to ensure you can see all your direct deposit payroll transactions will show up in your checking account, maryastotler@gma.
One likely reason is that your check register is filtered to show selected transactions. You'll want to change the filter options in the register.
Here's how:
Another reason is that those direct deposit transactions might've been recorded under a different account. In this case, proceed to the Paycheck list then open a paycheck. Examine the Paid section to see where the funds were taken out from.
If the issue persists, I suggest contacting our support team directly. They have the tools to check your account in a safe environment, and they can help find the root cause of your issue and find a fix.
I've added these articles to help you manage banking transactions:
