Do the QB Timecards have the capability for an employee to scan a QR code to show they have arrived at the job site that has a geolocation set?

Yes, QuickBooks Time (QB Time) has a scan QR Code functionality feature that allows your team members to easily clock in when they have arrived at the job site. Please note that QR codes are exclusively compatible with QuickBooks Workforce.

Here's how:

1. In the Workforce app, select Track Time.
2. Click Timesheets and hit Clock In.
3. Then Scan the QR Code.
4. For first-time users, you’ll be prompted to grant QB Time access to your phone’s camera.
5. Scan the QR Code to clock in to the associated customer.

Currently, QB Time does not allow setting a rule for employees to clock in at the start of their shifts or within 3 minutes. However, we highly encourage you to share the ideas with our product team so they can consider them for future updates. 4. Enter your feedback, and select Send feedback.
