Do you know why there was 256.23 taken from our checking account? It says CCD IRS?

Hello there, laurentking1313.

It's possible that these are electronically paid taxes to the IRS. We can look into the description in our bank statement to verify. Also, we can check our payroll tax and wage summary or payroll liability report to see if it's an e-payment made to one of our taxes.

I'll show you how:

  1. Let's log in to QBO.
  2. Go to the Reports menu.
  3. Type and click in the search field Payroll and among the list will show related payroll reports. Let's use the Payroll Tax and Wage Summary report as an example. This shows the total subject wages, excess wages, and taxable wages.
  4. Select the date range when the payment reflected in our checking account.

We can look into the different tax types with the matching amount. You can also look into this article more details about IRS tax payments and available payroll reports that we access

I'm here if you need anything else. Stay safe!
