Does payroll automatically add overtime after 40 hours

You'll have to manually enter the overtime hours worked when running payroll, gibsonchristena.

 

You'll want to set up the overtime pay to each employee's profile. I'll show you how.

 

  1. Go to Workers and chose the Employees tab.
  2. Click on the Edit employee button.
  3. In the How much do you pay (employee's name)? section, click on the pencil icon to edit.
  4. Check the Overtime Pay box.
  5. Click on Done.

You can also enter the overtime hours worked on the timesheet.
