Does QB let me redo a W2 if it has already been filed for this year? They do not support 1099 corrections so I was not sure.

Yes, I think QB Online Payroll includes the W-2c form just like QB Desktop Payroll.

Welcome to the Community, @madison3.

Right now, filing of amended Form W-2c and W-3c are unavailable in QuickBooks Online. There are two options you can choose to submit the correction.

You can either send online directly at the Social Security Administration website or request the official forms from the IRS. If the changes are already on your account, I suggest pulling up the Form W-2 to guide you with entering information for W-2c.

Here's how:

  1. Click Taxes on the left panel.
  2. Go to the Payroll Tax section.
  3. Choose Annual forms.
  4. Select W-2, Copies B, C & 2.

For future reference, please visit the Correct or amend W-2 forms article. It provides complete instruction of the filing process.

Wow! I had no idea. Desktop has had them for more than a decade.

One more reason to use Desktop.  There are so many!
