Does QuickBooks allow employer to pay employee by salary

You've come to the right place, @companioncuts. I can provide some insights about paying employees in QuickBooks.

 

Yes, QuickBooks allows the employer to pay an employee by salary. Salary wages are set amounts. The employee receives the same amount each paycheck. 

 

Here's how: 

  1. Go to the Payroll menu on the left panel.
  2. Choose the Employees tab.
  3. Click the Add an employee button.
  4. Create a salary pay by going to the How much do you pay? 
  5. Enter the amount and other additional pay. 
  6. Once done, save the setup.
