Let me share which taxes and tax forms QuickBooks handles for your business.
QuickBooks Online doesn't automatically fill out and file 941 on your behalf. It also depends on which version of payroll you have.
If you're using full-service versions of QuickBooks Online Payroll, Intuit sends your payroll taxes and forms automatically to ensure your business processes taxes on time. However, if you have the Enhanced versions of payroll, you need to submit the electronic filing, or view, print, and archive the manual filing.
Here's how to access the 941 forms in QuickBooks:
Click Taxes in the left panel and choose PayrollTax.
Under Forms, click the QuarterlyForms.
From the list of QuarterlyTaxForms, choose Employer'sQuarterlyTaxReturn (941).
Select the correct period from the Select the period drop-down.
Click the View button.
