Yes, you can manually file payroll core 941, W2, and Texa workforce reports in QuickBooks.
Here's how:
- Go to your DashBoard in your account.
- Under Tasks, select the Show more drop-down menu.
- Pick File now next to W-2 Copies A&D.
- Choose Annual Forms, then W-2 Copies A & D, then Continue.
- If prompted, tell us whether or not one or more employees were active participants in a retirement plan during the tax year.
- On the Employer Copies: Form W-2 page, press View to open Acrobat Reader. Review and print Copy D (Employer's copy) for your records.
- Once done, click Submit to authorize us to file Copy A of Form W-2 electronically for you.
- Hit Submitted.
