just about 6 weeks ago, we noticed that all payroll taxes for client on accelerated method were Drawn from their bank account twice.
we contacted Comptroller of Maryland, they originally indicated that we have sent two report for same period and that is why the double draw has incurred,
I contacted intuit and they confirm that they only have one request sent to Maryland per client.
I know about 99% that the issue is the new Maryland tax connect portal since they drew double sales tax last year and based on that fact, there was no third party such as Intuit was involved. this was my argument with them.
I am only curious is anyone experienced the same thing in Maryland?
