E-Pay due date

Last month one of your agents helped me set up my E Payments. My federal withholding is on the 15th of every month and it is set up to withdraw on the 17th? This will cause me to pay a penalty.

Re: E-Pay due date

Good day, jmasonconstruct.

Thanks for connecting with us. Let me help change one of your scheduled payments in QuickBooks Desktop.

You can easily change the scheduled payments for both payroll tax and non-tax liabilities in the Payroll Setup window. The following steps will guide you through changing the deposit frequency of a tax payment:

  1. Go to Employees.
  2. Choose Payroll Setup.
  3. Select Taxes and click on the Schedule payments link.
  4. Click on Continue.
  5. Highlight one of the liabilities and click on Edit.
  6. Make sure the Let me use a different payment (deposit) frequency checkbox is selected and click on Next.
  7. Set the day of the month.
  8. Click on Finish

To help you with the process, I've attached some screenshots below.

For further guidance, refer to this article that will help: Set up and pay scheduled or custom (unscheduled) liabilities.

This should point you to the right direction. Leave a comment below if you have further questions. I'll get them answered for you. Have a great day.
