Editing Wage Detail List on UI Payroll Form

How do I remove a name from the list? I can override and delete all but the social. The total is correct but when I check errors I am prompted to complete the information for the edited employee.

Thanks for posting your concern here in the Community. Let me help provide some information on how to correct the UI Payroll Form in QuickBooks Desktop. 

 

In this case, you'll need to zero out the amount and wage base of the employee's paycheck by processing negative liability adjustment to remove the name on the UI payroll form. 

 

To do this, you can follow the detailed steps  in this article: Adjust payroll liabilities.

 

If you need further assistance with the steps, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Desktop Support Team. They have additional tools to pull up your account and do a remote session. 

 

Here's how to contact our customer support: 

  1. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help from the Help menu.
  2. You can also press F1 on your keyboard to bring up the same Help Panel. 
  3. In order to route you to the correct support expert, we need to know what type of question you have.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. We’ll provide you a few options. You choose which one is best for you.
