Employee Direct deposit bank account entered erroneously

Hi there, @barbarabizcoach.

You'd be glad to know that you can submit a request to reverse direct deposit. You have up to five business days after the pay date to request a direct deposit reversal. Please note that it has a $75 charge for this service, but doesn't guarantee a refund.

Here's how:

  1. Open the Direct Deposit Reversal form.
  2. Click Add Request.
  3. Ensure that you provide all the necessary information and transaction details.
  4. Select Save.
  5. You can void the paycheck in your payroll records once the reversal is approved.

Intuit will review your request and send the status via email within nine business days. Check your junk or spam folders if you don't see it in the inbox.

After that, you can now run your payroll again.

Please read this article for more details: Reverse a direct deposit.

Here's an article to learn what to do if you have reached the direct deposit limit: Get help if you’re over a direct deposit limit.

I'll gladly assist if you have further questions about handling direct deposits in QuickBooks. Feel free to comment down below. Have a great day ahead.
