Employees didn't get paid. They were supposed to get direct deposit. I got an email from QB with payroll deposit receipt. Emps didn't get paid and chat is closed!

I didn't get an failure notification from qB and their chat is closed. I can call their help desk. What's going on?

Same issue for us.  None of the means of contact have been working.  (chat, call back, call in).  Pretty worthless, but I bet our bills will be debited on time and without discount.
