Let's get this sorted out so you can e-file your 1099s, @Med.
I appreciate you using different browsers to fix this issue. I tried preparing 1099s on my sample company file, but I was able to proceed. Just to clarify, did you receive an error message after the screen disappear? Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.
In the meantime, let's try logging in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser. This way, we can check if the browsers you used have a data issue.
Here's how:
- Press Ctrl + Shift + N on your keyboard for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
- Press Command + Shift + N for Safari.
Once logged in, go back and try to prepare and e-file your 1099s again to double-check. For more guidance, feel free to check out this article: Create and file 1099s using QuickBooks Online.
If this works, it means that you need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh.
If you get the same result while using a private browser, I highly recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. This way, they can further investigate this issue and provide additional troubleshooting steps so you can e-file your 1099s before the due date.
