I recently (1/1/2020) started using QB Mac Desktop 2020 for a company, closing out the 2019 year using the another vendor's software. (I've been using Intuit online payroll for years and manually entering payroll info each period) My issue is that the system wants to export all 2019 transactions. I don't want to do that because those transactions are already in my system. How do I turn off the alert? (Or, mark them as already exported). Short of exporting and then deleting them, I don't see what to do. There must be a way...
Thanks in advance! Margot
Hi Margot,
You have the option to set a specific date if you're trying to export payroll checks to QuickBooks for Mac from Intuit Online Payroll (IOP).
Otherwise, you can refer to this article if you're exporting from the IOP website outside of QuickBooks Mac: Exporting to QuickBooks for Mac.

Thanks. The issue I was having was that the past transactions kept showing up on my TO DO list as items that needed to be exported..
I figured out a work-around...I exported all the transactions into a .iif file and simply didn't import them into QB. Poof! They're off the list (as needing to be exported).
