Join nowCan someone please explain to me how QB can charge fees, that are not listed? For example, I was charged an "Intuit Handling Fee". No where in the direct deposit service agreement does it state anything about an "Intuit Handling Fee".
In addition, how can one get a hold of anyone in the land of QB that can actually make something happen other than...."we are sorry"?
Hello there, @BBB11.
Thank you for taking the time posting in the Community. Allow me to share some information about Direct Deposit charge fees and help get you to the right support.
When you send payroll transactions, Intuit attempts to debit the bank account we have on file. If your bank rejects this attempted debit, this is called a bank return.
If any amount debited against you is returned, Intuit may charge you a one-time insufficient-funds penalty fee. You can find more details about this in the Direct Deposit service agreement, under the Insufficient funds and dishonored debits.
Additionally, checking the charges requires accessing your personal account information. Since we can't do it in the Community, I suggest calling our Payroll Support. They have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment and drill down for more billing details.
Here's how:

Where can we find information about the Fees associated with the QuickBook Payments - I am only seeing this one for Employee and Payroll? We were charged a fee after a client paid online. But nowhere am I told if this is a % charge, or a flat rate fee. I feel ripped off and no one is answering our questions.
We can log in to your QuickBook Payments account, grandvalleypaintandhome.
From there, we can get the details of your transaction fees. I can show you how:
Also, there isn't a flat rate for the transaction fees. There's a percentage rate per transaction depending on how you process it. Here's the link to see the QuickBooks Payments pricing.
Additionally, I'd suggest getting a statement each month. You can download it to see all your transactions in QuickBooks Payments which includes the transaction fees.
You can read this article to understand your credit card processing statement.
Let me know if you need anything else. I'll be right here to work with you again.
