I'll make sure that you can get back to work, bjswan0505.

When we browse a website, the system will store information from that site known as temporary internet files. At times, these files can get quite large and take up a lot of space, filled with data from websites you will never visit again causing unusual behaviors in QuickBooks.

We can perform some browser troubleshooting steps to rectify this issue. Let's start by accessing your QuickBooks account in a private/incognito window. Doing this process will help us isolate the issue since this process doesn't save your web searches. I've listed the shortcut keys below:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N

Then, let's go to the Workers menu to check if the Employees tab is working well. If the issue doesn't persist anymore, we need to go back to your regular browser and initiate a clear cache to get rid of the stored junk files.

If the same thing happens, we can use other supported browsers. It could be that the one you're currently working on has a temporary problem with QuickBooks. Please check out our supported browsers below:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Safari 11 or newer

Let me know how it goes in the comment section, as I want to ensure that you can successfully bring up your employees.
