@LeizylM , back to the question. when will these tax payments be taken out from their quickbooks balance? is it now that they are scheduled, or only when they are paid?

Hello. I can share some clarifications about how tax payments work in QuickBooks Online.

 

Users using the full-service versions of QuickBooks Online Payroll have an option to pay payroll taxes and forms automatically. The time we deduct payments will depend on the due dates of your taxes.

 

No worries, we automatically debit the amount from your account and pay liabilities on time before the deadline. During the payroll setup, you'll be getting options to have us pay and file your federal and state payroll taxes on your behalf or opt out to pay and file them yourself.

 

If you're unsure of the payroll setup or have any questions related to full-service, I recommend contacting our Payroll Support Team. Our Customer Support Team for QuickBooks Online Payroll - Core, Premium is available from 6 AM - 6 PM PT (Monday - Friday). For QuickBooks Full Service Payroll, QuickBooks Online Payroll Elite/Premium, any time, any day.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Help icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Go to the Search tab.
  3. Hit Contact Us.
  4. Enter your concern and then hit Continue.
  5. Choose Chat with us or Have us call you
