You can try adding a parent summing account or you can combine the two into one and forgo downloading the transactions and instead perform manual entry. QBO doesnot provide for two feeds into a single account
Hi there, ccraig-stemania.
Before you connect the credit card, I suggest visiting your bank to check how they send the data. QuickBooks depends on information shared by the bank. If the transactions download to individual accounts, only connect the sub-accounts. If not, I recommend connecting the parent account.
Once you know which account to sync, you can disconnect and reconnect your credit card account to start all over. QuickBooks Online can download the last 90 days of transactions.

For additional information, you can refer to this article: Disconnect or delete an account from the Downloaded Transactions page. This also provides details about the difference between disconnecting and deleting an account in QBO.
Please check this article to see how QBO analyzes all the information received from the bank: Assign, categorize, edit, and add your downloaded banking transactions.
Please let me know if you have other questions related with QuickBooks. I'm always here to help you.
