Hi @vintageflip-comc,

We want to help you with your questions about mileage tracking. However, we need more information about it to provide the correct resolution and to get this sorted out promptly.

Can you provide more details about the issue you're referring to under the Taxes tab? If you could provide screenshots and additional information, add it by clicking the Reply button below.

In the meantime, you can check the following article, which contains video references to get familiar with QuickBooks Online: QuickBooks Online Tutorials.

Hello, rather than spend time with screenshots can you call me, and I'll let you connect so we are viewing the problem together? If you're from QB's Admin, then you have my contact information already. Thanks, Jim

Hello there, @vintageflip-comc. I want to ensure you'll be able to resolve your mileage concern as soon as possible.

The only option to contact our live support team is through the Help menu within your QuickBooks Online (QBO) program or via a web browser using the Contact Us link. Please know that Community is a public forum and we have another type of support that use specific tools to securely pull up your account. Once connected, you can request a screen-sharing session so they can further review your account's set up. Here's how:

  1. Open your QBO account and click the Help icon.
  2. Next, go to the Search tab and select Contact us.
  3. Enter a brief description of your concern in the box and click Continue.
  4. Then, choose the Call option to get in touch with our phone representative.

You can also visit our support hours page to ensure you'll get assisted immediately.

For reference in managing mileage data in QBO, feel free to visit this article: Set up mileage tracking and vehicles in QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, I've attached this helpful resource that you can access at any time to look for more guides in navigating your QBO account: Learn about QuickBooks Online with how-to videos.

Please post again here for additional details about your mileage concern. I'm just around the corner and will be waiting for your response. Have a good one and take care.

Hello, I know all of what you are telling me already and have tried that method and typically those team members have no idea how to fix stuff. SO, I thought I was writing the "ask community" users to help get an answer from them.

If the first person that wrote me before you say sending screen shots to you guys, then I'm willing to do that.

But here's the thing, either you know how to fix it or not? It can't be the first time someone has asked this question.

Note: I do not use the phone app to automatically have my mileage entered, I'm not that fancy.  I manually enter my mileage in the mileage section.  Is that why it's not populating/translating to the tax section?  For that matter I'm manually entering my $125 a month home office use in expenses yet it shows up as $0 in the tax section.  All other expenses seem to be tranlating to the tax/income tab correctly.

PLEASE I need a QB's expert to help me and not just the generic copied and pasted brush off reply. Thanks, Jim
