How do I change an employee name? I entered it backwards?

Changing an employee name is a breeze in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @jbrown9. I'm here to guide you throughout the process. 

 

To correct your employee's name, you simply need to open their profile and edit the info. Refer to the steps below:

 

  1. In your QBO account, select the Payroll menu and choose Employee. 
  2. Next, look for the employee you need to change the name of and click Edit.
  3. Then, go to the Name and contact section and edit the name there.
  4. After that, click the Employee display name * drop-down arrow and choose how you want the name to show.
  5. Once done, click Save.
